Boxes are measured in inches by Length x Width x Height.
How are box dimensions measured?
Inside dimensions are used. So, if a box is 12" x 10" x 10", you can fit an item that is 12" x 10" x 10" inside that box.
How is the strength of boxes determined?
Two factors are used to measure the strength of boxes: the amount of pressure applied to one square inch of the box in order to puncture (e.g., 100#) and the amount of pressure on an edge of the box to bend its side (e.g., 32 ECT).
How is bubble wrap measured?
Bubble wrap is measured using three factors:
1. Height of the bubble (1/2", 5/1", or 3/16")
2. Width of the roll
3. Length of the roll
